best day ever

The best day ever was when we were on the cruise.
On the cruise my brother Adam, my cousin Nicole and I work up at 8:00 in the morning well I woke up at 7:00 so I watched the pink panther.
We went to eat breaky, we had a big breakfast with tater tots, and other stuff like that.
After breaky we went to the main deck to go swimming but first we got an ice-cream.
While wee were in the pool there was a chubby kid who kept splashing us so we got in a big water fight and then he started threatening us.
We were winning but then he called his friends so five other people were in the pool so we stopped but I heard them say if they start splashing well splash them but if they don’t well stay and wait.
So I told my cousin and my brother right when I said that my sister and our other cousin came in the pool with us so I told them to.
We waited until they weren’t paying attention to splash so I snuck behind them, right behind a kid who was leaning into the pool and my brother, sister, and cousins started splashing them so I tapped his foot and blaboom!!!!
He fell in and we started splashing.
I would do a cannon ball right by them to splash them, but one time when I was going to jump in the pool a kid grabbed me so I said wanna dance? And pushed him in, it was hilarious.
After about five more minutes of the hectic splashing war they left so we got dressed, and we were a little hungry so we decided to grab some ice cream.
After getting dressed our cousins and my sister went to some stores to look at stuff like mugs and key necklaces, so my brother and I went to the main deck to play some ping pong.
We went playing by the rules when we were playing it was more like extreme ping pong that were you go and play on the ground and bounce it really high and go as far away from the net as you would in badminton.
It was fun but we kept getting it under the patio furniture.
After we had lunch at the pizzeria on the boat I had a triple cheese pizza (typical me) and for dessert more ice-cream not that I’m complaining.
After that we went to the bottom of the boat to our room to talk about funny stuff that happened on the boat but when I was going up to the top deck to the arcade thing on the boat, And Nicole, and Adam were gone!
So I went with my sister ERIN and my other cousin JORDAN to get some ice cream when we were eating it we were looking over the boat and Erin leaned too far and splat Erin’s ice cream went splat on the side of the boat.
It was hilarious.
We got another one (since she dropped her last one) and guess what I seen Adam and Nicole so I went with Adam to the arcade.
After that we met our Nicole, Jordan, and Erin outside the arcade, we were going to roam around the boat taking funny pictures with random people and at weird places like the stage after that we met our parents at the fancy supper place and had supper our waiter we got was funny he told jokes and did magic tricks!
At supper I ordered the smoked salmon after supper we went to the sage to watch the sword sallower juggler and the comedian first we seen the juggler he was funny then the comedian we told jokes about people who couldn’t say his name they would say quiffiffer, he was hilarious!
It was 11:30 at night when we got to our floor at the bottom of the boat we were really tired so we got in bed and just blacked out.
The end

Fun On The Holiday

Draft 4

I had a fun holiday because the night I went to bed I couldn’t get to sleep, so I was really tired in the morning. We all went down stairs and opened presents, I was still half asleep.
I got down stairs and looked at all my gifts. Now I can’t wait till next year to open more presents.

I had a fun holiday because my family was together. We watched each other open
There gifts and have fun. When we were all done we went up stairs and had breakfast together (we had eggs, bacon, and hash browns). When we were all done breakfast Erin (my sister) and I played with my remote control cars I got for Christmas. For the rest of the day we hung out around the house. I can’t wait till next year to spent time with my family.

I had a fun holiday because on New Years Eve my family and my neighbors got together. Even though I wasn’t feeling good, it was still fun. We waited down stairs with the parents while they found a new year’s channel P.S they didn’t find one. So we went by the clock on the DVD player. Then we went by the clock on the wall. I can’t wait till next year to have fun.

Barbara

By: Jeffrey Strueby Editors Erin Strueby & Sharon Strueby

On Monday Dec 1st we went to the Makenzie Art Gallery to see Bob Boyer & Barbara and the art work she (and the many other classes made) made.

It was cool because all of the boxes we made were piled on card board towers.

I would give the artwork 4 stars.

Barbara came to our school and gave us a sheet of paper and showed us many ways to fold it.

In the end we blew into a hole in the paper and it made a cube!

Now all of our cubes are at the Makenzie Art Gallery on Display

I thought I was going to see all of the boxes glued together.

What I saw was the cubes sitting on card board towers
BOB BOYER

On Monday Dec 1st our class went to the Makenzie Art Gallery for a field trip.

We were going to learn about Bob Boyer.

Bob Boyer was an artist, he was born in 1950 and passed away in 2004.

He painted many paintings like a Seven Arrow Storm and Self Portrait as Twins.

A Seven Arrow Storm looked like a square in the middle and arrows pointing out of it.

Self Portrait As Twins looked like two colorful birds flying beside each other.

When we were there we drew pictures and made things out of circles.

We were handed a sheet with 12 circles on it.

We had to things that is in the shape of a circle, for example a smiley face () or a sun… it was fun!!!!!

I thought I was just goanna see art what I saw was lots of art!

Ballet

Regina Youth Ballet Review

Stars: four

In the ballet the dances I seen were the second last one and the last one cased to band.
When we were on the bus I was thinking “Oh! This is goanna be so boring!” But when we got there it was kind of interesting to see all the costumes, and moves that the dancers where doing. It was surprising to see them all doing the same thing at the exact same thing. I think when the speakers were making a beep noise and some one would jump up.

I liked the good use of props, and space. They all did a great job when they had to stop at the same time. It surprised me when they crawled out on the stage.
